RUMOR: iPod touch and iPod Nano with camera

Some chinese manufacturers are already in the process of creating new cases based upon the new iPod Touch and the new iPod nano, POSSIBLY planned for a September 2009 release. This is pretty cool, especially since cameras are being inserted into everything these days! Now if the iPod touch could email these photos via the wireless antenna, and I could MMS my cellphone buddies with an iPod Touch!

iPhone Themes for your Jailbroken phone

This is just a post about some nice themes that I have on my iPhone, via jailbreaking and Cydia. I don’t know of any sites that put preview pics of themes out there, so I figured I would try some out and post them here.

WARNING: iPhone 3.1 disables all tethering hacks

According to a few sources, the new beta 2 version of the iPhone 3.1 OS disables the hacks that are currently out there to work around the tethering. This is not good for those of us that are tethering away. For right now, it is a good idea for those of you with a 3G or 3GS, to stick with the 3.0 OS and the AT&T 5.0 stuff we have now… you can check out the video from Brian Tong’s show, “The Apple Byte” on CNET. It is around the last 60 seconds where he talks about it:

The original 3.1 beta was released on June 30th, 2009. See below:

Toshiba finally gives into Blu-Ray

toshibaBluray

Anyone remember HD-DVD?? Who was making those discs??? Oh yeah, that’s right, Toshiba! Way back in February of 2008, Toshiba had to pull out of the HD format wars and succeed to Sony’s Blu-Ray. Now almost 18 months later, they have decided to produce their own Blu-Ray player! They are looking into better technologies, to speed up the players and put their own spin on it, but now with the price of Blu-ray players coming below $200, now is a good time as any!
