Apple Fanboys Suck!

So I was reading earlier today about a possible rumor update to the iTunes application. (read previous post) Then when I was about to goto bed, I saw this link on a friend of mine’s update on Facebook. I thought it were odd, since I read this is supposedly rumored. So I ran update on my iTunes to see if there was a new update. It says I can’t connect to the server, which by the way, I haven’t been able to connect to the iTunes store for the past few days either, I need to call my ISP. What’s weird though is, I can click on her link and it goes directly to the store on my iPhone. Kinda weird? or coincidence???

after figuring this one out, I feel really stupid for falling for this one. I found out that if you go into the iTunes Link Maker, that you can search for any artist or album and pull that iTunes store link directly into your facebook and post it as a link, and Facebook automatically does the rest. It makes a nice little link for you. So I call bull on the rumored Facebook integration!
So over at the Boy Genius Report, they have a source that is possibly showing new updates to iTunes 9. They are talking about Facebook integration and DVD playback/ripping, and 3rd party support. September 9th is slowly getting closer and is it possible that these rumors are true about the new beta of iTunes?? Apple would be one of the first, besides RealPlayer, who would have DVD ripping inside their software that wasn’t shady. I know there are millions of them out there that circumvent the digital rights stuff, but I am talking direct ripping inside of iTunes. Apple does have many of blu-rays and DVDs that already have the digital copy included with your purchase, but this would now enable you to rip your old DVDs into your library.
Facebook is also a possible integration that would allow you to share all that you do with your library. You can see all the screen shots over @ the Boy Genius Report.

have you seen this kid?? he is using the Apple retail stores as his video internet stardom spot. check out some of his videos, this one is hilarious at the beginning when the girls are looking at him. It’s even funnier that everyone just keeps walking by.
Best Buy denies $9.99 TVs

Early this morning, Best Buy had an epic fail on their retail website. Apparently they listed a 52″ television for $9.99 instead of the $1,799.99 it was supposed to be listed at. There were obviously many orders that were put it, but all of those orders that made it through will be canceled and the customers will receive their refunds.
