Adobe has now launched a mobile version of its popular photo editing software on the Apple iPhone.  It allows you to run some simple filters and cropping and easy stuff like that. You can then either save the photo to your phone or upload it to you Adobe account. The free photoshop.com account comes with 2GB for free and paid service as well. What’s cool is that the program runs its actions of of gestures instead of all buttons that crowd up the screen. Check it out for yourself!

My Windows 7 package arrived

0

My windows 7 package arrived! Now I am waiting for the 24th to arrive. They send you a copy of it in 32 & 64 bit versions. They also sent along the playing cards, streamers, poster, tote bags and a table center piece. Kinda nifty! Now how do I make this not so bad as the Microsoft videos???

iPhone VoIP is now ALLOWED on AT&T 3G!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don’t think you understand the great amount of excitement I am having right now for this announcement! This means you now can make your Skype phone calls over the 3G network instead of using minutes, or even GoogleVoice (for those of you that are among the invited) for that matter! For those of you that still don’t get my excitement, I will break it down even easier.

I now can get the absolute minimum of minutes from the company required and the the unlimited 3G data package (up to 5GB…) and not waste any of my minutes. I can now use Skype, which is a free/paid service (dependent on the service I chose) that I can make my phone calls over the 3G network, which now puts At&t in a bind because I am not paying for the large amount of minutes that I would use on their network if I couldn’t use Skype. This is great competition!! (I love you FCC!!!) The same goes for GV since I can use GV mobile on my iPhone. All my calls are free on GV so I can now lower my minutes! Get the idea???

Ooma Telo is out in the wild

Ooma is a VoIP telephony service that allows you to have unlimited free calls within the continental U.S. with no monthly costs. No catch! Seriously. (I am thinking about getting this service for myself, and I have even recommended it to my mother who will not let go off a land line!) The deal is, that you have to purchase the Ooma hardware to become a member of the service, and you get service for life. This company has been around for quite a while now, and this is their 2nd rendition of their main phone hub and it looks gorgeous!!! You can see the one out in the wild from Zatznotfunny.com:
