According to a few sources, the new beta 2 version of the iPhone 3.1 OS disables the hacks that are currently out there to work around the tethering. This is not good for those of us that are tethering away. For right now, it is a good idea for those of you with a 3G or 3GS, to stick with the 3.0 OS and the AT&T 5.0 stuff we have now… you can check out the video from Brian Tong’s show, “The Apple Byte” on CNET.
